Thanks for contacting Dawn, David.

We appreciate your inquiry regarding the ingredients for our Dawn hand dishwashing liquid. Petroleum is not in the makeup of any of our hand dishwashing liquid but a complete list of ingredients is available online. Just click on http://www.pg.com/productsafety and follow the instructions below:

- Enter the name of the product in the box labeled “Enter keyword or product name”.
- Click on the circle indicating 'Product Ingredients', then click on Search.
- A list of available product versions will appear.
- Click on “Ingredient” for the version you want.
- A PDF file containing the Product Ingredients will appear for your convenience.

I hope this information is helpful to you! Thanks again for writing.

This is great,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I may have miscommunicated my question.

I didn't mean to ask if Petroleum was in in Dawn , I meant to ask if products synthesized from petroleum products are used to created Dawn.

I did find the pdf:

http://www.pg.com/productsafety/ingredients/household_care/dish_washing/Dawn/Ultra_Dawn_Hand_Renewal.pdf

I believe these ingredients are synthesized from petroleum products.

PPG-26
PEG-8 Propylheptyl Ether
Phenoxyethanol
Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer
Methylisothiazolinone

Do you make your own or do you buy them and do you know where they are sourced from?

Thanks,
David
