Here I record some notes about reducing my enviromental impact.
Don't buy new
- cloths
- don't upgrade as often, computers, phones etc. see Skip an Upgrade
- Building material [[1]]
Reduce consumption
- reduce packaging by buying more at a time ( 3 steaks instead of one ), the large size instead of the small one (just take twoce as long to finish it).
- walk don't transit
- transit don't drive
- drive don't fly
- Reusable containers. Buy in bulk. You can bring your own containers to bulk barn for reuse. Bring your containers to a cashier before you fill them to get them tared.
- Disk soap
- Laundry detergent
- Peanut Butter
- Honey
- Dried fruit
- Other?
- bring your own reusable bag to the grocery store.
- bring you own reusable mug to the coffee shop.
- bring you own reusable toilet paper to the toilet.
- install a programmable thermostat
- don't throw it out, pass it on to someone who might be able to use it::
