Manager Assessment

What are some things David does well?
David has been working hard to identify and coordinate the remediation of a tremendous amount of technical debt. He has provided excellent feedback into improving our cloud delivery. We hope to get a greater handle on workload so that we can begin implementing the suggested best practices.
How could David improve?
With the workload as high as it is currently it can become a struggle to keep a positive attitude. Doing so is important so we reduce the risk of people leaving and increasing workload further. Be the role model for the new cloud hires coming in.

I should leave when i feel myself getting too emotional.
Please provide feedback about your manager?
It looks like they are getting yanked around by the nose. Every week a different "big project". We don't ever finish projects. Management tells us about what plans are but don't publish plans and track progress in a clear way.
