Here I record some notes about reducing my enviromental impact.


Don't buy new

  1. cloths
  2. don't upgrade as often, computers, phones etc. see Skip an Upgrade
  3. Building material [[1]]

Reduce consumption

  • reduce packaging by buying more at a time ( 3 steaks instead of one ), the large size instead of the small one (just take twoce as long to finish it).
  • walk don't transit
  • transit don't drive
  • drive don't fly
  • Reusable containers. Buy in bulk. You can bring your own containers to bulk barn for reuse. Bring your containers to a cashier before you fill them to get them tared.
    • Disk soap
    • Laundry detergent
    • Peanut Butter
    • Honey
    • Dried fruit
    • Other?
  • bring your own reusable bag to the grocery store.
  • bring you own reusable mug to the coffee shop.
  • bring you own reusable toilet paper to the toilet.
  • install a programmable thermostat
  • don't throw it out, pass it on to someone who might be able to use it::
